Career Counseling Cell

The Career Counselling Cell of the college provides a wholesome and conducive environment for all round development of the students. This is a team effort involving principal, faculty members and the counsellors. Although very effective personal counselling happened all along in the college, the Cell formally started operating from the session 2017- 18. From then on, the Cell has provided quality services to the students in the following ways

Department-wise Counselling and Student Support

• At the time of department-wise counselling before the admission, the committee members guide the new students about choosing subjects and subject combinations.
• In the beginning of the academic session, the cell provides orientation to the students about the functioning of the college, learning resources, and other technological arrangements available as well as the institutional values.
• The cell provides personal, vocational, and career counselling to the students on a one-to-one basis.
• The cell addresses their specific personal problems, opportunities for employment as well as career development and provides guidance to appear for competitive examinations.
• The cell organizes various lectures and presentations from different organisations for the students of the college to improve their overall personalities that help them to meet challenges in advanced studies and in the job market.
