The institution is now planning to introduce science-stream courses in a new building, and efforts to secure funds for this expansion are in full progress.

From 35 Students to a Thriving Academic Community

From its humble beginning with 35 students in borrowed classrooms, Netaji Satabarshiki Mahavidyalaya has grown into a respected institution with approximately 1,500 students across multiple undergraduate programmes in both B.A. and B.Sc. streams. The college now boasts ten Major (Honours) subjects, thirteen Minor subjects, a Distance Education PG centre, skill development initiatives, certificate and add-on courses, and a vibrant research ecosystem — all supported by a dedicated faculty of 44 teachers and a committed non-teaching staff. The journey from a community’s aspiration to a NAAC-accredited institution stands as a testament to the vision, perseverance, and collective effort of its founders, educators, and students.
