WBSU Undergraduate Programme Regulations 2025 (NEP 2020)

Effective from Academic Session 2025–26

West Bengal State University (WBSU) has introduced its Undergraduate Programme Regulations 2025, implemented under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, effective from the academic session 2025-26. This document outlines the comprehensive framework governing admission and evaluation for undergraduate students across affiliated colleges.

The regulations cover two primary tracks: the 4-Year Single Major Programme (Honours / Honours with Research) offering 180 credits over 8 semesters, and the 3-Year Multidisciplinary Programme (MDP) offering 128 credits over 6 semesters. Additionally, a 3-Year Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) programme under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) is also included.

The document details eligibility criteria, choice of courses, credit structure, curricular components (Major, Minor, IDC, AEC, SEC, VAC, and Internship), grading system, SGPA/CGPA computation, and course coding principles.
